Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Deposit

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking date.

• The booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

• The remaining 50% balance is due prior to delivery of the final work.

• We reserve the right to withhold delivery of any images, video files, or other deliverables until full payment has been received.

2. Fees & Payment Terms

• Fees are agreed upon in advance and outlined in the booking confirmation or invoice.

• Payments may be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or other approved methods.

• Any bank or transaction fees are the responsibility of the Client.

• Late payments may result in delayed delivery.

3. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Postponement

• The 50% deposit is non-refundable.

• In the event that Locals and Travellers needs to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be offered the option to reschedule the session at a mutually agreed-upon time, or receive a full refund for the affected service and no further liability will apply.

• Failure to attend the scheduled session without prior notice will be considered a cancellation and is non-refundable.

• Rescheduling requests provided by the client before shoot day are considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability.

4. Shoot Day Terms

• The Client is responsible for ensuring access, permissions, and conditions necessary for the shoot (locations, permits, releases, etc.) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Delays caused by the Client (late arrival, unprepared subjects, restricted access) may reduce shoot time and do not entitle the Client to a refund or extension.

• Additional time beyond the agreed duration may be billed at an hourly rate.

5. Creative Control & Style

• The Client acknowledges that they have reviewed our portfolio and are familiar with our artistic style.

• Creative decisions, including composition, lighting, editing, and storytelling, are at our professional discretion.

• Requests for extensive revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional fees.

6. Services, Deliverables & Turnaround

• Videography services are limited to filming and standard editing. Motion graphics, After Effects animation, tracking, and licensed music are outside the scope of videography services.

• Deliverables (images, videos, edits) will be delivered in digital format unless otherwise agreed.

• Estimated delivery timelines will be communicated in advance and may vary depending on project scope.

• Raw files are not included unless explicitly agreed in writing.

• Post-production may involve the use of third-party tools or platforms as part of standard editing workflows. Such tools are subject to their own terms of use.

7. Usage Rights & Licensing

The Photographer/Videographer retains full copyright to all images and video content created.

Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the final delivered work for personal and/or commercial purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, marketing materials, press, and internal communications.

This license does not permit:

• The resale of the images or video files

• The licensing, transfer, or distribution of the content to any third party (including agencies, brands,

• publishers, or stock platforms)

• Any third-party use, resale, or sublicensing requires prior written consent and may be subject to additional

• licensing fees.

• Third parties acting on behalf of the Client (e.g. PR agencies, designers, publishers) may use the content solely for the Client’s benefit and may not reuse, resell, or repurpose the content independently.

8. Photographer/Videographer Promotion

We reserve the right to use delivered work for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, competitions, and self-promotion unless the Client requests otherwise in writing prior to the shoot.

9. Client Responsibilities & Releases

• The Client warrants that all subjects have consented to being photographed or filmed.

• The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary model, property, or location releases unless otherwise agreed.

• The Client agrees to indemnify us against any claims arising from lack of permissions or releases.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client.

• We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including weather, venue restrictions, equipment failure beyond reasonable precautions, or third-party interference.

• We are not responsible for missed shots due to uncooperative subjects or unforeseen conditions.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, acts of God, strikes, government restrictions, or emergencies.

12. Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.

Files will be archived for a limited time after delivery; long-term storage is not guaranteed.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

14. Acceptance

By booking Services, paying the deposit, or signing an agreement, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
